  Child of God, Lover of Jesus

Learning, growing, developing -just plain trying to figure out life as a child of God is an adventure. Twists, turns, ups and downs amidst the path to living life for Jesus are abundant, helpful, and necessary in the growing process.
My story is full of the goodness of God, His keeping power, the power of prayer, the faithfulness of God to His children, His promises to never leave or forsake us, His plans of hope for our future.
I’m lucky enough to still attend the same church I was born attending, what a blessing. The Lord has taught me -and continues to teach me- to trust Him, to lean on Him more than anything anyone on this earth can accomplish or grant me. I’m excited to begin keeping record of things I’ve learned, words He gives me, dreams I have and document the encouragement I’ve received. I hope and pray that it encourages all who visit this page and read!

Momma of Three

These three beautiful kiddos are also a big part of the twists, turns, ups and downs throughout life. They have helped me to grow spiritually, exponentially! I think God knew this is what it took for Him to get my full attention…
Becoming a mother at 20, was a shocker for me. Then the 10 year gap between my now middle boy and the youngest was another shocker! The Lord had great plans for my life, those plans consisted of these three amazing little humans he gifted me. They were beautiful gifts and instruments in the lessons he had laid out for me to learn. This process has been (and still is) quite the adventure. They challenge me, they encourage me, they teach me and show me how to teach others. And they are a big source of my entertainment and a big source of expending all my energy!!!! They definitely keep me on my toes.
I was not the girl, who dreamed of babies and families and caring for children… but here I am, learning how to do all of that! God is amazing in that way -that He knows what we need, even when we don’t know what we need. He has the best plan in mind to grow us into a person we (and He) will be pleased to call His Child.

Living that wife life

Oh, what a wonderful gift I have been given to be called wife to the amazing man pictured here. We have been married since 2006! Met and dated in High School, married Him the summer I graduated from High School What a journey that was… maybe one day I will write about that experience. Life has been -thus far- quite the roller coaster, but in the end of this ride I pray I will look back and be able to say I thoroughly enjoyed the every moment!
This guy is a hard working man, my rock, my everything. He was the best gift God could have ever given me. I always say, “if I never received another gift from God above, the gift of this man was enough.” (Although I am not wishing that upon myself…) The gift of being really and truly loved is a beautiful thing, and so often taken for granted, and trampled upon. Don’t do it! relish in the love God has given you! Thank Him for it! It is truly a blessing!
I enjoy our home reno projects, and watching Him work on his own (more mechanical projects) I may add a Projects page one day, we will see… Its so fun to look back at the progress we’ve made over the years.
